When Alex Jamieson was told she had bowel cancer in June 2021, the world she knew came crashing down around her.
The mum-of-two had felt discomfort in her abdomen for years. Doctors were unable to pinpoint the cause of her suffering, initially giving her a diagnosis of Crohn’s disease.
