The Supreme Court will on Friday hear a petition filed by TV anchor Rohit Ranjan seeking protection in connection with multiple FIRs lodged against him over telecast of an allegedly doctored video of Congress leader Rahul Gandhi.
A case is listed before a Vacation Bench of Justices Indira Banerjee and J.K. Maheshwari on Friday.
Mr. Ranjan's lawyer and senior advocate Siddharth Luthra had made a second consecutive oral mentioning on Thursday to urge the court to list and hear the plea.
