Once again the film crews have arrived like a whirlwind to shoot Doctor Who in Clifton; the streets are made up to look like Christmas has arrived in Notting Hill, and several of the upcoming series' big names have also been spotted out and about in the city today (April 26).
Fans will already be aware that the fifteenth incarnation of the Doctor will be played by Scottish-Rwandan actor Ncuti Gatwa, who appeared to be in good spirits in front of the camera this morning.
After a series of auditions and a non-stop rumour mill that followed the departure of Jodie Whittaker, with actors like Michael Sheen and Richard Ayoade all being touted as possible replacements, it was announced that Gatwa would be taking on the role of the Time Lord.

Gatwa is the first black actor to lead the series, and fourth Scottish actor to play the part after David Tennant's five year stint and appearance as the fourteenth Doctor.
The fifteenth Doctor looks to be a very different ones due to the fact that there won't be a singular costume for the part. In previous versions, the Doctor has tended to have an outfit, which may be subtly changed - David Tennant wore the same suit but in different colours - but it looks like Gatwa's version of the Doctor will have many different costumes.
It is believed that this is Gatwa's first time shooting in Bristol. Crews made an appearance back in February, when they decorated Frederick Place in Clifton to look like London, complete with routemaster buses, fake street signs and Christmas decorations, making the streets feel unseasonably festive.
This time around it's much the same, with Christmas decorations once again being spotted in the same area after film crews were seen at Lloyds Ampitheatre at the Harbourside yesterday.
