A woman who alleges she was repeatedly raped by a Sydney gynaecologist during examinations has cried as she told a court how the assaults seemed robotic and ritualistic.
Richard Ian Reid, who has since retired, has pleaded not guilty to charges that he raped a patient on eight occasions over four years and denies he ever improperly examined her.
