A surgeon has come forward with his thoughts on a raw meat breakfast served up by a man who calls himself "the liver king".
As previously reported by the Daily Star, Brian Johnson, from the US, eats raw liver, testicles, and bone marrow every single day as part of his strict "ancestral lifestyle".
Johnson credits his raw meat diet for allowing him "optimum health", and regularly shares pics and clips online of him tucking into meaty, and often divisive, dishes.
Plastic surgeon and popular social media personality Dr Anthony Youn gave his reaction to a breakfast video shared by the carnivorous TikTok star and didn't hold back from offering some graphic medical details.
In the video, the Liver King be seen setting himself up for the day with a plate piled with beef mince and raw egg yolks, pairing this with a jar filled with chopped livers.
Dr Youn, who regularly shares his expertise with his 7.7 million TikTok followers, urged people against taking inspiration from Johnson's controversial morning routine.

The medical expert was especially concerned about the apparent lack of fibre in his diet, which he believes could well have some uncomfortable consequences.
In his filmed response to the breakfast vid, Dr Youn appears visibly repulsed by the Liver King's declaration, “Who needs vegetables, when you can eat testicles?"
Addressing his own followers, the disgusted surgeon asked: "How does he poop? There's seriously no fibre in any of this food and I have friends who eat no vegetables and I swear they sit on the can for an hour."
Dr Youn went on to remark that if he himself was to ever follow the Liver King, he would need to be manually disimpacted, a process that involves removing a person's stools using a gloved finger.
Speaking plainly, he emphasised, “I would have to stick my hand up my butt and pull out literal boulders", before adding that he’d rather be known as “Green Smoothie King” to avoid such bowel complications.
Dr Youn's post has since clocked up more than 619,800 views and 86,800 likes, with a number of other users sharing the surgeon's concerns.
One person suggested, "Maybe it’s why he is angry all the time, he is quite literally full of it", while another shuddered, “This cannot be good for anyone.”
However, a third person revealed that they too follow a similar diet and have had no toilet troubles whatsoever, reporting, “I do the carnivore diet and have no issues with going to the bathroom ever.”
