January is a tough month of the year for everyone, particularly in the current climate, however, one popular street food and drink venue in the west end is hoping to help alleviate some of the stress.
Dockyard Social has announced that children under the age of 16 will be given a free meal when any family heads along this month.
The venue, which is open every weekend, Friday to Sunday, just outside Finnieston, hosts a wide variety of food vendors with cuisines from around the globe with top vendors from all over Scotland and is hugely popular with Glasgow foodies.

Posting on Facebook, the team wrote: Heading out for food this January but don’t want to break the bank?
"Enjoy a FREE MEAL for the little ones (under 16s) on us. Choose anything from Thai Street Food to Hand Stretched Neapolitan Pizza."
The offer, which is redeemed at the welcome desk on entry to the venue, is for 1 free child’s food portion and runs for the entire month of January.
Adding that under-18s get entry for free (excluding their children-specific events), the team were keen to help struggling families where they can, but did ask people to book ahead where they can.
