Well, happily both have been combined this year in a special 007 experience in Mayfair’s Burlington Arcade which is a tribute to the greatest Bond film of all, 1964’s Goldfinger.
The 007 is now open and it allows stressed out shoppers a chance to escape into a world of glamour and espionage and of course, martinis, in London's historic shopping district.
The 007 experience features two exclusively designed bars, where visitors can indulge in signature cocktails specially created in partnership with Belvedere, Blackwell Rum, Champagne Bollinger and Macallan.
Now of course everything must be shaken not stirred, and enjoyed while admiring the gold bullion design of the place. Truly this pop-up must be instantly the most elegant bar around.
Visitors can also browse the curated collection of 007-inspired products, including rare legacy items, collectible pieces, and designer collaborations - many of which are being showcased for the first time.
We’d recommend putting on your best Sean Connery voice, taking your own Pussy Galore by the arm, and heading on down there.
