The DNA from hundreds of Palestine Action activists is being used by cold case detectives to potentially solve crimes committed by themselves and family members many years ago, it can be revealed.
Around 2,717 demonstrators – mostly first-time suspects – have been arrested under the Terrorism Act in UK towns and cities for holding placards expressing support for the proscribed group.
