DMRC becomes first Indian metro organisation to secure ISO 55001:2024 certification

Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) has become the first metro organisation in India to receive ISO 55001:2024 certification, the latest international standard for asset management, for its management of Mumbai Metro Line-3.

The certification marks a shift in DMRC’s approach from conventional maintenance practices towards a strategic, risk-based and lifecycle-oriented model that focuses on managing asset performance, risks, costs and long-term value.
