DK Metcalf couldn’t control his anger after a frustrating play during the 28—16 loss to the 49ers in Week 14. Down two scores against the NFC West rival 49ers, the Seahawks had a chance to put together an impactful drive at the start of the fourth quarter.
Seattle backup Drew Lock, who got the start in place of the injured Geno Smith, lofted a pass downfield for Metcalf, who was surrounded by multiple San Francisco defenders. The pass was intercepted by the 49ers and Metcalf was not happy about it.
The star wide receiver took out his frustration on the Seahawks’ sideline, as he completely smashed equipment on his way back to the bench. The moment of destruction was caught by Fox cameras.

To the amazement of Fox analyst and former NFL player Greg Olsen, Metcalf destroyed the helmet warmer on the bench, something he said he had never seen broken.
It was a bit of a tough day for Metcalf and the Seattle passing offense. The star wideout did manage to haul in a 31-yard score from Lock in the first quarter, but that was one of just two receptions on the day for the Pro Bowl talent.
Metcalf's frustrations boiled over even more after he was ejected for slamming 49ers linebacker Fred Warner to the ground.
