A new head coach at Tottenham Hotspur this summer will bring new possibilities for some of the club's 11 players out on loan this season while for others their departure remains likely.
Spurs have sent out the large group of players on loan at clubs across England, France, Italy and Spain over the course of this season, with some of them enjoying success away from the nest and others struggling to make an impact in their adopted homes for a variety of reasons.
However, Antonio Conte's exit from the club last month could open the door for some players to have another chance to impress under the next Tottenham manager, while others may still want to get away from the north London club.
football.london has taken a look at the 11 players and given their verdict on who could stay, leave, head out on loan again or maybe their fate still hangs in the balance.

Djed Spence (Rennes)
Conte said publicly that Djed Spence was a club signing rather than someone he desperately wanted and made that even clearer by barely playing him.
In January, the England U21 international went out on loan to Rennes and made nine consecutive starts, with some success, notably with an eye-catching performance and Messi and Mbappe last month. The return of Rennes captain Hamari Traore from injury though will make game time more difficult for Spence in the final months or so.
Spurs will want the new manager to have a proper look at Spence and how the 22-year-old adjusts back to a back four, if that becomes the formation of choice again, will be key to whether he heads out on loan again with competition from Pedro Porro and Emerson Royal. VERDICT: STAY
Joe Rodon (Rennes)
Joe Rodon has had a mixed time at Rennes since arriving last summer. He was a regular starter as the side rose high in Ligue 1 but fell out of the team as an unused substitute in six league games in a row before at the weekend the Welshman was left out of the squad entirely, with boss Bruno Genesio preferring to put 18-year-old academy youngster Jeanuel Belocian on the bench instead.
Rennes have an option to buy the defender but if Genesio remains in charge it would seem an unlikely deal and likewise Rodon would probably not want to stick around either.
It would also seem unlikely that the 25-year-old at this stage of his career would want to hang around at Spurs any longer hoping for some occasional game time and a permanent move seems the likeliest solution for all parties. VERDICT: LEAVE
Destiny Udogie (Udinese)
Destiny Udogie has been a regular starter for Udinese and he would probably have done the same for Spurs if the Italian side had not insisted that he was loaned back to them as part of the deal to sign him last summer.
The 20-year-old was named Udinese's player of the month for February and has made 26 appearances this season for the Serie A side, scoring three goals and laying on three assists.
Udogie will be expecting to make a big push to be Spurs' starting left-back with the position very much up for grabs. VERDICT: STAY
Harry Winks (Sampdoria)
Harry Winks missed the first half of his season with an ankle problem that required surgery but he has made 11 consecutive 90-minute appearances since in a struggling Sampdoria side.
With just a year left on his contract, it's more than likely that the 27-year-old academy product will move on next summer and his spell in Italy will have restored some confidence in himself and his ability to play regularly as well as increasing interest in him. VERDICT: LEAVE
Tanguy Ndombele (Napoli)
Tanguy Ndombele has made 35 appearances and has played his part, albeit mostly from the bench, in Napoli's charge towards the Serie A title, with two goals and one assist, often playing in a deeper role.
However, it's difficult to see how his Tottenham career would continue other than the club desperately trying to find a way to prevent their club record signing leaving for virtually nothing.
The 26-year-old Frenchman has worked under three different Spurs managers and it hasn't worked out for him. You can't completely rule out a fourth-time lucky scenario and if Mauricio Pochettino were to return then he might want to take a look at him first, but it feels like Ndombele's opportunity at the north London club has come and gone.
Napoli have an option to sign him for 30m euros (£26.3m) and a suggestion that there might be a clause which makes it an obligation to buy if the Serie A side qualify for Champions League football, which they are about to do for next season, is not believed to be correct. VERDICT: LEAVE
Giovani Lo Celso (Villarreal)
Lo Celso is an interesting one because he's both the player who Spurs could potentially get the most money for as a transfer but also a player the next Spurs manager might want to take a really good look at first.
The 27-year-old Argentine is a regular starter for his country and only missed the World Cup due to injury which fragmented his loan at Villarreal. Otherwise he's a first choice player there and now fit again he starred in Saturday's 3-2 victory at Real Madrid, and grabbed an assist. There is not believed to be any option to buy in his loan move in Spain.
With Rodrigo Bentancur likely to miss a chunk of the start of next season, having a more attack-minded midfielder like the Argentine who can play deeper or in advanced roles might end up being a good option.
Much depends on whether Lo Celso wants to remain at the club but for some managers and a new coaching staff he might fit the bill, although reaching the final two years of his contract is also a consideration to be taken in to account. VERDICT: MAYBE
Bryan Gil (Sevilla)
At just 22-years-old, time is on Tottenham's side when it comes to Bryan Gil. The young Spaniard showed some little glimpses of what he can do this season in a Spurs shirt before heading out on loan to Sevilla, where he has got plenty of minutes and a recall to the senior Spain squad.
If feels like Gil is naturally drawn back to playing in Spain though and if Spurs do get a good bid for him they may well be tempted. However, with a contract until 2026 they have time if they want to give him yet another season away to develop. VERDICT: LOAN
Sergio Reguilon (Atletico Madrid)
Reguilon has had a nightmare on loan with Atletico Madrid and has not started a single La Liga match this season, having had injury problems and a stomach issue at one point that saw him hospitalised. He has played just 84 minutes in the competition this season across four matches.
You might argue that the left-back spot is the one most up for grabs but with two years now remaining on the 26-year-old's contract, you would think Spurs will be looking to move him on and he will want regular football after this season from hell. VERDICT: LEAVE
Troy Parrott (Preston North End)
The original plan for Troy Parrott was to get away this season, have a good full season in the Championship and come back this coming summer to challenge for a spot in the first team.
The 21-year-old has got plenty of minutes this season for Preston around the knee injury he suffered before the World Cup break but the young striker has managed just two goals from 26 Championship matches.
He could well get a pre-season to show what he can do but he needs to get on the goal trail in the final weeks of this Championship season to help his case. VERDICT: LOAN
Dane Scarlett (Portsmouth)
The change in manager at Portsmouth to John Mousinho has not helped Dane Scarlett with little game time and the new man indicating that he thinks the 19-year-old should follow the Marcus Rashford route in playing off the flank rather than through the middle.
The teenager has still scored six goals and registered two assists in 39 games across a League One season that will have developed him a lot. The new manager will take a close look at him as one of the academy's brightest talents, but with a long deal until 2026 another season on loan makes sense at this young age. VERDICT: LOAN
Harvey White (Derby)
Harvey White has made 11 appearances for Derby in League One since arriving in the January transfer window, being named in and out of the starting XI.
Turning 22 in September and with a contract reaching its last year, it's getting to that time when a decision will have to be made by all parties over whether the club's midfield is too packed for him, despite his qualities, to make the breakthrough. VERDICT: LEAVE
