A well-known DJ is bringing a GBX-style set to Biggar for the first time ever at the end of this month.
Cassi Gillespie, known as Cassi, is playing at the town’s rugby club on Saturday, May 28.
She is set to serve a GBX style set, as well as regular party tunes.
The radio presenter and DJ is a firm favourite and plays regular gigs in Glasgow, including The Savoy, AXM and many more.
She recently served as a support act at the SSE Hydro for Hollywood legend Hugh Jackman, performing for over 35,000 people and has worked alongside George Bowie on Glasgow’s biggest breakfast show, on Clyde 1, from Monday to Friday.
Cassi has also covered George on the most listened to radio show in Glasgow, GBXperience.
This will be the first time that GBX has ever come to Biggar.
The event is being hosted by Biggar RFC and profits from the event will contribute to raising funds for the development of Biggar RFC Community Sports Centre.
Get along to Biggar Rugby Club from 8.30pm to 1am.
Tickets are available for the event online and cost £15 and anyone over the age of 14 is welcome to come along and enjoy the tunes.
