IAS officer Divya Mittal has resigned from the Indian Administrative Service after nearly 13 years, bringing an end to a career that saw her serve in several parts of Uttar Pradesh. The 2013-batch officer announced her decision in a social media post, describing her journey as “unforgettable” and reflecting on what public service had taught her.
Her resignation comes months after she was transferred from Deoria to Lucknow, where she was posted as Special Secretary in the Revenue Department in May.
