Liverpool return to Premier League action on Saturday with a crucial clash against Newcastle United at St James' Park. But the headlines this week have been dominated by Jurgen Klopp's contract extension and what that could mean for prospective signings.
The Reds remain in contention for an unprecedented quadruple this term, with the league, Champions League and FA Cup still up for grabs. In the summer, the Liverpool boss could look to improve on his squad even further.
With that being said, here is a round-up of all the latest Liverpool transfer rumours from around the globe.

What?
Liverpool have 'identified' their replacement for striker Divock Origi, if recent reports are anything to go by. The Belgium international could leave Anfield this summer when his contract expires, with AC Milan a possible destination.
Outlet Fanatik claims Getafe's Unal is a target for the Reds as they look to bolster their attacking options in the summer. The report notes that the 24-year-old has impressed in La Liga this season with 15 goals and one assist in the league so far.
While Origi is a likely departure this summer, Liverpool are arguably well stocked up front following the arrival of Luis Diaz in January and continuous rise of Diogo Jota.
Unal has previously been at an English club in rivals Manchester City, whom he joined from Turkish side Bursaspor in 2015. After various loan spells in the Netherlands and Belgium, he was eventually sold to Villarreal for £12m in 2017. He joined Getafe in 2020 and only Real Madrid's Karim Benzema has scored more goals in La Liga this term.
Who?
David Carmo.

O Jogo, via Sports Witness.
What?
Reports in Portugal this week claim Liverpool are interested in Braga defender David Carmo. The 22-year-old has made 14 appearances for his club this season, having missed a large chunk of the campaign through injury.
O Jogo says the defender is expected to leave the club in the summer, although he is under contract until 2025. It goes on to say he has been 'sounded out' by a number of Premier League sides and Liverpool are among those following the player closely.
It's worth noting, however, that Jurgen Klopp currently has a number of talented centre backs at his disposal in Virgil van Dijk, Joel Matip, Ibrahima Konate and Joe Gomez. It will likely take a departure for Liverpool to dip into the market for defensive reinforcements.

Divock Origi.

Miguel Delaney of The Independent.
What?
Liverpool striker Origi is edging closer to a move to AC Milan, but that could heavily depend on whether the Serie A side's proposed takeover goes ahead.
Journalist Miguel Delaney wrote in his Reading The Game newsletter that the 27-year-old has a 'provisional' deal with the Rossoneri, but nothing has been signed and a deal could hinge on the takeover going through.
Reports this week claim Milan are on the verge of being bought by Bahrain-based asset manager Investcorp.
