A mum has found herself in every parent's worst nightmare after no one turned up to her daughter's birthday party.
The woman has opened up about feeling "awful" after going above and beyond to fulfil her three-year-old's Disney-themed dreams - only for no guests to attend.
She decorated her back garden with an abundance of pink Minnie Mouse décor - including sweet birthday banners, table settings and even a bouncy castle.
Taking to popular video-streaming service TikTok, mum Gloria - who posts under account @2down4u_official - claims she even made a selection of homemade food for the attendees.
In the video, she explained: "My baby turned three and no one came to her birthday party. I cooked and made a bunch of pastries.
"I was excited to celebrate with family and friends. No one showed up for her."
After sharing the heartbreaking clip online of the birthday party set-up, Gloria was inundated with messages from sympathetic TikTok users.
One person wrote: "I'm so sorry! I know how that feels!! My family never shows up. I wish I lived closer - me and my girls would have shown up for her!!!!"
Gloria responded: "It feels awful. Thank you I wish you could've come too."
Meanwhile, someone else said: "I'm so sorry love I bet she was so happy just to have the most important ones - her mum and dad."
A thoughtful person commented: "That's not right I'm sure she had a blast with the awesome decor. Can you send me an Amazon wish list? I wanna send her a gift."
"Your daughter is blessed to have you as a mother. You and your daughter deserve better friends/family," a fourth penned.
Fortunately, as explained in Gloria's updated video, there was a happier ending for the three-year-old girl.
Captioning the clip of her new video, the mum wrote: "Update from no one coming to my baby's birthday, she surprised me."
She said: "My niece travelled 1,296 miles and surprised me. She's the one who lives the furthest and cancelled all of her plans just to come to my baby's birthday."
