Train services have been disrupted across the North East after a person was sadly hit by a train.
Lines were blocked between Edinburgh and Dunbar in Scotland while emergency services dealt with the incident on Saturday afternoon.
A number of train services between Edinburgh Waverley and London King's Cross have had to be cancelled or delayed.

The 2pm LNER train from Edinburgh to Kings Cross had to start from Newcastle instead of Edinburgh.
Customers due to travel on affected LNER trains have had their tickets accepted on CrossCountry, Northern, ScotRail and TransPennine.
Services have now resumed however disruption is expected until 6.30pm. LNER warned that trains may still be cancelled or revised.
LNER told customers: "It is with great sadness that we report that a person has been hit by a train."
