Met Éireann is forecasting more disruption tonight as a violent weather system passes over the west coast of the country.
"Becoming wet and windy today as heavy and thundery rain spreads north and east across the country, leading to spot flooding," they said in Sunday's forecast.
"Strong and gusty southwest winds, with gale force gusts along Atlantic coasts, may lead to disruption tonight," they added.
