Lea Salonga has pushed back against men commenting on women's bodies, turning a discussion about appearance and weight into a wider criticism of the double standards women face online.

In an Instagram story on 23 August, the Filipina Broadway star pushed back against male body shamers who are constantly commenting on women's bodies and the expectation to always look fit and good.
