Disney's Encanto sing-a-long coming to Glasgow's King's Theatre later this year

A sing-a-long version of 2021 musical film hit Encanto is coming to Glasgow's King's Theatre later this year.

The brand new smash hit film musical of the film about the Family Madrigal is being brought to the city by the producers of Sing-a-Long-a Sound of Music and Sing-a-Long-a Frozen.

Ticketholders will be able to sing their hearts out with a live host who will teach you some funky dance moves and show you how to use the props from your free goodybag.

About the musical, organisers said: "Those of you not familiar with Encanto, it is a tale of the Madrigals; an extraordinary family who live hidden in the mountains of Colombia in a charmed place called the Encanto.

"The magic of the Encanto has blessed every child in the family with a unique gift - every child except Mirabel. However, she soon may be the Madrigals last hope when she discovers that the magic surrounding the Encanto is now in danger.

Everyone is encouraged to wear fancy dress at the October sing-a-long. (Disney.)

"It couldn’t be easier or more fun! The first rule of Sing-a-long-a is THERE ARE NO RULES! Fancy dress is strongly encouraged and full audience participation essential. You, the audience, are the stars!

"And remember we don’t talk about Bruno, no, no, no!"

This event, which takes place on Saturday, October 8, is an interactive screening of the movie, rather than a live show.

Ticket prices starts from £17.50 and can be purchased here.
