It's hard not to be spellbound by the trailer for Disney's new film Disenchanted.
The sequel to much-loved musical fantasy rom-com Enchanted, the tale once again revolves around Giselle Philip ( Amy Adams ), the former princess-to-be of the animated kingdom of Andalasia.
You may recall in the first film our heroine left her magical life behind so she could wed divorce lawyer Robert Philip (Patrick Dempsey) in the 'real' world.
And while it seemed a good idea at the time, Disenchanted throws a spotlight on all the things Giselle misses about her former life.
Set a full decade after her 'happily ever after', the princess and her new family move from Manhattan to make a fresh start in the suburb of Monroeville.
The community is overseen by the nefarious Malvina Monroe, whose intentions for the newcomers are far from honourable.
When problems inevitably arise, Giselle uses her trusty wand to magic their lives into the perfect fairy tale. However, the spell backfires and everything spirals out of control, with our heroine frantically trying to save her family and homeland of Andalasia before the clock strikes midnight.

The trailer for Disenchanted features some of the wonderful tongue-in-cheek meta-humour that was so on the button in its predecessor.
And as The Verge pointed out, it's interesting to see how much the film has in common with Marvel's WandaVision and Doctor Strange In The Multiverse Of Madness.
Both stories are about women who become evil witches while trying to make their dreams come true.
Fun for all the family, Disenchanted will undoubtedly put you under its spell when it launches on Disney Plus on November 18.
The film that started it all - Enchanted - was released in 2007 to widespread acclaim.
It has a very respectable 7.1 rating on IMDB, where reviewers have lavished it with praise.
Jaredmobarak posted: "Everything works here to bring a wonderful family-friendly story to life ... Working in older Disney yarns and playing each story thread to its effective conclusion leaves us with a tale that could become a classic among the ones it appropriates.
"So, if you are looking for a way to spend a couple of hours with the whole family, Enchanted is definitely a great way to go".
While Planktonrules said: "As a middle-aged man, I loved the film. Some of this might be because I took my teenage daughter with me - who got such a kick out of it. I couldn't help but like it!
"I thoroughly enjoyed Enchanted, and am glad I saw it".
