Disney On Ice review: Stardust sprinkled across Newcastle in magical show

The magic of Disney and the festive season met head-on at Newcastle's Utilita Arena with stardust sprinkled around the banks of the Tyne venue this week.

Disney on Ice has been with us in Newcastle for decades now with parents now able to share the magic with their children and it never fails to capture the imagination of families at this time of year.

Hosted by Micky and Minnie with a little help from Pluto and Tinkerbell excited families are whisked away to a land of enchantment for almost two hours.

They sail away with Moana and Maui in the quest to return the stolen heart and sing along with Aladdin, Genie and Jasmine as they head around the world.

Snow falls onto the ice as the crowd witness the power of love with Frozen's Elsa and Anna as they bid to stop the eternal winter in the much-anticipated magnificent finale.

Appearances from Disney princess favourites Rapunzel, Cinderella, and Sleeping Beauty make the show one of the biggest dates on the festive calendar.

Disney on Ice is at Newcastle's Utilta Arena until Sunday, December 11 2022, tickets are available here.
