The Conners, the beloved ABC sitcom and spinoff of the hit show Roseanne, has recently reached a significant milestone with its 100th episode. As fans eagerly anticipate this landmark episode, speculation about the show's future has been swirling. While some have wondered if The Conners is coming to an end, a top Disney executive remains tight-lipped on the matter.
In a recent interview with Deadline, executive Craig Erwich deftly evaded questions about whether the current season, which premiered recently, will be the last. Instead, he focused on the excitement surrounding the upcoming 100th episode. Erwich revealed that he had the honor of attending the cake-cutting ceremony for this momentous occasion. Notably, star and executive producer Sara Gilbert had both the script for the 100th episode of The Conners and one from the original franchise, Roseanne, which the spinoff is based on.
