Disgusted staff at a cafe in West Lothian have shared video footage of the moment they say their tip jar was ransacked.
CCTV footage appears to capture a masked man entering the shop and standing at the counter of the eatery on Hopetoun Street in Bathgate.
The alleged thief is seen looking around and carefully placing his hand over the jar, before sliding it downward toward his pocket.
Another video shows two women seated behind him in the cafe, oblivious to the action in front of them.

Luna Caffe is a popular eatery locally and the Italian cafe sells breakfasts and baked goods throughout the day.
The lunch time service was just coming to a close on Thursday when the alleged crime took place.
The cafe say that they have contacted police already and asked all other local business to beware.
They released the CCTV footage on Facebook in the hope that someone recognised the perpetrator.
They were filmed entering the shop, wearing a Superdry hat with what appears to be a blue and white jacket, with distinctive Adidas track suit bottoms.
Angry locals hit out in the comment section under the video.
One man said he seen the suspect leaving the area, alongside another masked individual ten minutes after the crime was reported.
Police Scotland confirmed to Edinburgh Live that they have received the report from the café, and will now be carrying out further investigations to gather more information.
