Sky News viewers were horrified when they watched a woman waving her arms about while she stood in full view of a live broadcast from the scene of the Nottingham murders.
At the time the woman was seen video-bombing, a reporter was providing an update after the horrific and brutal killing of three people - two 19-year-old students Barnaby Webber and Grace O'Malley-Kumar and school caretaker Ian Coates - who were stabbed to death in the early hours of Tuesday morning.
Sarah-Jane Mee was delivering a live report from the area as the residents of Nottingham process what's happened and tributes are paid up and down the country.
But behind Sarah-jane, the woman wearing a blue top and shorts is captured on screen, dancing as the oblivious journalist continues, reports the Mirror.
And a clip which has been doing the rounds on social media of the shocking moment has been slammed by angry Twitter users.
One said: "What an embarrassment she is."
An annoyed twitter user added: "Looks like she hasn't ever been on TV before. Absolutely disgusting."
Another simply wrote: "Vile."
Yesterday, a school caretaker was named as the third victim of the Nottingham knife attacks.
Ian Coates is believed to have been found fatally stabbed in Magdala Road in the city in the early hours of Tuesday morning, June 13.
It is alleged his van was then stolen by the suspect and used in an attempt to run over three people in Milton Street, Nottingham city centre.
Three other people were injured when the stolen van was then driven into pedestrians.
A 31-year-old man was Tasered by officers before being arrested on suspicion of murder.
More than 2,000 students yesterday gathered at the heartbreaking vigil at the university’s main campus to remember the pair.
They were joined by Barnaby’s parents David and Emma, his younger brother Charlie and Grace’s parents Sanjoy and Sinead.
The university's vice-chancellor Professor Shearer West said the lives of the two teenagers had been "curtailed" by a "seemingly random" act of violence.
She said: "What should have been a time of celebration and relaxation following the exam period has become a time to mourn tragic loss in the most unimaginable of circumstances."
Another vigil is planned in the city tonight.
