'Disgusted' PSG fan sends message to Liverpool after 'chaotic' scenes in Paris

A French football fan has sent a message to Liverpool supporters following shocking scenes in Paris.

Stefan Trbic, from Oise in the north of France, contacted the ECHO on Sunday, May 29 after Liverpool's Champion's League defeat. The PSG supporter spoke on behalf of their fans to denounce the "cowardice by our police forces" and "hundreds of fanatics who created problems".

Thousands of Liverpool supporters travelled to the French capital in hopes of seeing the Reds win their seventh European trophy. But excitement soon turned into chaos as fans were blocked from entering the stadium and pepper sprayed by police.

Stefan said: "Hi, I speak on behalf of the PSG supporters, we are sorry for the welcome worthy of cowardice by our police forces as well as by a hundred fanatics who created problems before the Champions League final against Real Madrid at the Stade de France.

"In another stadium in France this final could have taken place but our authorities are not smart enough to think about this solution. I am disgusted and very angry with the victory of the Real Madrid against you.

"PSG and Liverpool are very close as we saw in the nineties and during the last meetings between our two clubs in UCL. Wishing you a good next season and a more successful transfer window to defeat Real Madrid."

He says his dad was a big fan of the club

Stefan added : "The atmosphere of Anfield, with the incredible chants before the matches, which I have never had the chance to experience in real life except on TV, is magical.

"Your club has always been able to welcome us and we all have this banner of PSG supporters, welcome to legendary fans."
