Former SNP Finance Secretary Derek Mackay is to make his first appearance at Holyrood in over two years after resigning in disgrace.
Mackay will give oral evidence to the Parliament’s Public Audit Committee on the ferries debacle.
The ex-MSP quit Government in 2020 after he was found to have bombarded a sixteen year old boy with hundreds of messages.
He has not been seen at Holyrood since and he stood down as an MSP last year.
Mackay also used to be Transport Minister and was in post when key decisions were made to procure two ferries that have still not been built.
He provided the Committee with written evidence and will appear in person on Thursday.
