Disgraced footballer Adam Johnson has settled a half a million pounds tax bill - after a seven year court battle.
Adam Johnson Promotions Ltd was set up in 2007 to collect image rights payments for the former Sunderland and England winger. It was liquidated owing more than £523,000 to HMRC.
The Mirror reports how the 35-year-old's parents, David and Sonia, were listed as the company's shareholders They each had 50 of its 100 shares.
