Manchester City fans have been left up in arms after VAR awarded Manchester United a penalty for a Jack Grealish handball.
The England star was adjudged to have committed the offence after Aaron Wan-Bissaka’s header hit the hand of the winger in mid-air. Bruno Fernandes converted the spot kick to make it 1-1 on 33 minutes after Ilkay Gundogan’s opener after 12 seconds - an FA Cup final record.
Blues fans were left further aggrieved by VAR when a penalty call at the other end was waved away by referee Paul Tierney after Fred put a challenge in on Kevin De Bruyne.

Earlier in the match, a rough tackle from Casemiro on Manuel Akanji was checked and dismissed by VAR. Some City fans referenced this when complaining about the decision from VAR lead official David Coote.
Supporters are greatly unhappy with the decision against Grealish, saying it was not intentional there was nothing the superstar could do while challenging for the ball in mid-air.
@ErlingEuphoria: Absolute disgrace of a decision
@MrBlazed12: Of course they gave a penalty but not a red card to Casemiro. Absolute joke
@FodenBetter47: his back was turned and he had no time to move his hand, disgrace
@Mayowaaaaa: So Grealish is supposed to tie his hands when jumping? Casemiro wasn’t even yellow carded
@llyeto7: What is he supposed to do
@oddyseumxLiveX: What a disgrace that was, they only way to score against us apparently
Rules state that if the ball hits the arm anywhere below the T-shirt line, it is a foul whether intentional or not.
