For the last two years, Denver-based low-cost airline Frontier Airlines (FRON) has been winning over customers by advertising an "unlimited number of flights" for a set price.
While a long list of terms and conditions keeps the offer far from the "pay once and jet set around the world for free" image stirred up by the name, customer interest in the GoWild! Pass has led to Frontier creating multiple spin-offs—seasonal passes for the winter or summer months, a special pass for children traveling with a designated adult, and a partnership with an apartment lending platform that targets digital nomads.

The GoWild! pass is significantly more affordable when booked ahead of time, and with the colder months coming up, Frontier just announced that the Fall and Winter Pass is currently being sold for $299 instead of the usual $399.
Want to try Frontier's GoWild! Pass? Now is a good time to book
The discount airline pass runs from Sept. 1 to Feb. 28, 2025. It follows Frontier's usual rules—pass holders can book a seat on the Frontier website one day before a domestic flight and 10 days before an international one. A select number of flights will be open to early booking (to know, look for the GoWild! button when looking at flight details).

Frontier plays with puns: 'Don't leaf this deal behind'
The multiple terms and conditions have been why some customers have questioned whether the GoWild! Pass is worth the money.
Blackout dates during the fall and winter period include Sept. 2, Oct. 10, Oct. 11, Oct. 13, Oct. 14, Nov. 23, Nov. 27, Nov. 30, Dec. 1, Dec. 2, Dec. 21 to 24, Dec. 26 to 31, Jan. 1, Jan. 4, Jan. 5, Jan. 16, Jan. 17, Jan. 20, Feb. 13, Feb. 14, and Feb. 17 (which, by any measure, is a significant part of the season).
The airport locations used in some major cities (for example, travelers would not fly into LAX but John Wayne Airport or Ontario International Airport 50 miles from downtown) leave travelers to decide whether the extra money spent on Uber (UBER) or other airport transportation is worth it.
Other fees not covered by the pass include baggage charges and any taxes or airport fees added by the airport.
But even so, GoWild! has a very loyal fan base.
Economically, it has proven most useful to those who frequently travel between two or three destinations or when eligible airports are near one's home. Most recently, the airline announced new routes between Denver and Savannah, Georgia, Philadelphia-Buffalo, and Sacramento-Dallas.
"FALL in love with travel!" Frontier wrote on X, the social media platform formerly known as Twitter, in a series of autumn-related puns. "[...] Don't leaf this deal behind!"
