Fans of BBC newsreader Naga Munchetty have begged her to quit a ‘filthy’ habit after she shared a post-run sweaty selfie.
The 48-year-old shared a snap of herself on Twitter with her 278,000 followers with a humble brag to confirm that she had completed a run.
Looking remarkably fresh-faced for having just been for a jog, the TV presenter told her fans that she hadn’t wanted to do it but had gone anyway.
She captioned the post: "Didn't want to. Did it. It's done. #run. Happy Friday."
While most of her followers praised Naga for looking so good after the exercise session, many scolded her for what they called a “filthy” habit.
One follower wrote underneath: "Please give up the cigarettes."
"I'm curious (not judging you) how many cigarettes do you smoke a day?", added another fan.
While a third person reprimanded her: "Disappointing to find out you are a smoker."
And a fourth social media blasted: “Stop smoking, it shows on your skin. You are far to beautiful to keep that filthy habit up. X”
Another shocked fan quipped: "I'd never have thought you were a smoker."
Earlier this month Naga and her co-host Charlie Stayt let their hair down after an early shift at BBC Breakfast by indulging in a cheeky pint at the weekend.
The colleagues enjoyed a well-deserved screen break together in Manchester and looked worlds away from their newsroom personas.
Both were seen drinking beer during the sunny but chilly afternoon in the city as they lit up cigarettes while they looked relaxed chatting.
They kept warm in big coats as the cold kept them on their toes.
Naga wrapped up in a black North Face jacket with knee-high boots while Charlie went for trendy khaki as they both smoked outside the venue.
Elsewhere on Twitter on Friday, Naga's fans couldn't believe how freshfaced the journalist looked after her first run of the year.
"You have no right to be that attractive after a run. Stop it," one gushed, as another added: "Congratulations, well done for perseverance, looking beautiful and gorgeous."
A third asked: "How do you look so good when you have been on a run?"
