Disabled woman assaulted and left with bruised face in violent attack outside McDonald's

A disabled woman was assaulted and left with a bruised face in a violent attack outside a McDonald's restaurant last Wednesday (June 14).

Greater Manchester Police are now investigating the incident and have shared an appeal along with a picture of a woman they would like to speak to.

The assault occurred outside the McDonald's restaurant on Lime Square in Openshaw and left the victim with bruising to her face. Anyone with information or witnesses is being urged to contact Greater Manchester Police.

In a statement a spokesperson for the force said: "Police are appealing for the public's help in tracing this woman (pictured) who they want to speak to in relation to an assault of a disabled female.

"The incident occurred outside McDonalds on Lime Square in Openshaw on Wednesday 14 June 2023, in which the victim sustained bruising to her face."
