Edinburgh resident forced to use mobility scooter on roads due to 'bad parking'

A woman living with rheumatoid arthritis has hit out at inconsiderate motorists that park on pedestrian pavements in Slateford.

Margaret Muir, 53, says that her street is constantly inundated with cars perched up on the kerbside which makes navigating her community extremely difficult.

She relies on a mobility scooter to get around and says that her model is not built for going over speed bumps and often struggles when it is not on the pavement.
