A Leeds takeaway where staff had "very poor" knowledge and "dirty and damaged chest freezer" containing doner meat was given a damning one-star food hygiene rating.
Crispy Fish and Chips in Headingley Lane was told by food inspectors to have a big clean up and to train up their staff . One star means 'major improvements are needed'.
The inspectors, working on behalf of Leeds City Council, visited on March 3. The takeaway which in addition to fish and chips, makes pizza and kebabs, was told to clean numerous areas.
