Diogo Jota has revealed his 'special' debut that saw him partner Liverpool hero Fernando Torres for Atletico Madrid.
The Liverpool number 20 moved to Atleti in 2016 from Pacos de Ferreira and made his debut for the Spanish side when lining up next to Torres.
Since moving to Anfield in 2020, Jota has cemented himself as a fan favourite and his latest song on the Kop goes by the same tune as the Torres bounce chant that was heard so regularly on Merseyside.

Nat Phillips, Cody Gakpo and Jota sat down with singer Jamie Webster in an episode of Off The Pitch, shared by the club’s official Twitter account, as they discussed the Portugal international's song.
“For me, I have to say that makes it even more special," Jota said. "I liked him a lot, then I signed for Atletico Madrid, and my first game was a friendly and I played up front with him.
“So that was nice. I still have a picture on my phone, and now having the same song it’s…unpredictable.”
That 2-0 friendly win over CD Numancia in the summer of 2016 is clearly a fond memory for the 26-year-old as he got to play alongside a Spanish football legend.
