Diogo Dalot's agent has confirmed the player expects to stay at Manchester United beyond this summer.
Dalot made 24 starts for United this season and played over 2000 minutes. Dalot spent the 2020/21 season on loan at AC Milan and had been a peripheral figure at Old Trafford until this term, in which he made the most starts of his United career.
Aaron Wan-Bissaka was seemingly undroppable under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer but that changed with his dismissal. Ralf Rangnick insisted he needed his full-backs to offer quality going forward during his interim reign and Dalot benefited from that approach.

Wan-Bissaka lost his starting place to Dalot this season and his long-term future at the club is now understood to be uncertain.
It seems Dalot doesn't have any such concerns about his future, according to his agent, who confirmed his client's future plans on Wednesday. Carlo Goncalves represents Dalot and he revealed that the player expects to be part of Erik ten Hag's rebuild.
"He [Dalot] is very happy at Manchester United," Goncalves told 101 Great Goals.
"The season went well for him personally, but obviously, it didn’t go well for Manchester United given the club’s expectations. But we are expecting Diogo to stay for next season, for sure."
Dalot is contracted at United until the summer of 2023.
