A CHAIN restaurant was asked if its cauliflower popcorn dish was "overly nationalistic" after a diner in England found a piece shaped like a map of the UK.
Diners were served a surprise when they ordered food in a in Welwyn Garden City pub on Tuesday, with their cauliflower wings shaped like Great Britain and Northern Ireland.
Graham and Cathy Bloye were eating at The Stanborough Beefeater when they noticed the unusual shape of the wings.
As well as having cauliflower shaped identical to the UK mainland, they even had one similar to Ireland and Northern Ireland.
The photo was posted from their Whiskers Mouse Twitter account, with the caption: "Hey @beefeatergrill do you ever worry your Cauliflower Popcorn is overly nationalistic? #thestanborough #welwyngardencity."
