Country music fans, get ready for an exciting announcement! Dierks Bentley is extending his highly successful Gravel & Gold Tour into 2024. The 48-year-old singer-songwriter revealed on Monday that he will be adding 31 additional shows to his tour schedule this year in support of his latest album, Gravel & Gold, released in 2023.
To make this tour even more special, Bentley will be joined by an impressive lineup of guests. Throughout the tour, he will have the support of fellow country artists Chase Rice and Lee Brice. Additionally, several rising talents in Americana and country music such as Graham Barham, Tyler Braden, Kaitlin Butts, Mae Estes, Ella Langley, Randy Rogers Band, Zach Top, Tanner Usrey, and Bella White will grace the stage as special guests on select dates.
The Gravel & Gold Tour 2024 will kick off in early June in Fort Worth, Texas, and will take Bentley to various locations across the South, Midwest, East Coast, and Midwest once again. The tour will come to a close on August 21 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
In a press release, Bentley expressed his excitement about extending the tour, saying, 'The Gravel & Gold Tour has been the best of my career, and I’m not ready to leave it behind.' He also highlighted the incredible production of the tour that allows him to connect with fans in the moment, making it a magical experience. Bentley looks forward to collaborating with his guests, which he considers a highlight of every summer.
To give fans a glimpse of what's to come, Bentley shared a fun video on Instagram. Set to his song 'Gold,' the video showcases his opening acts, with Bentley playfully tossing his car keys to each artist. Some were caught in unexpected situations like relaxing on the beach or using the bathroom, adding a humorous touch to the clip. Bentley concludes the video by saying, 'It’s gonna be a killer summer, y’all. Can’t wait to see you guys out there.'
When Gravel & Gold was released early last year, Bentley spoke to PEOPLE about the creative process behind his tenth studio album. He explained how the album tied back to the song 'Same Ol' Me,' emphasizing that the further he went, sometimes there he was. The album reflects a full-circle moment in his career, reminiscent of his first record. Bentley remains true to himself, making music that feels right to him.
