Joao Felix looks increasingly likely to leave Atletico Madrid in the January transfer window. The 23-year-old's relationship with manager Diego Simeone has soured in recent weeks as he pushes for an exit from the Spanish club.
Felix's agent, Jorge Mendes, has held further talks with Arsenal and Manchester United as he looks to find a suitable solution for his client. Atleti want a loan package worth around £16million to let the Portugal international leave on loan, including a mandatory transfer fee to sign him permanently in the summer.
United are said to have offered a £4million package to take Felix on-loan for the remainder of the season, without including either a mandatory or option to buy clause as they look to replace Cristiano Ronaldo at Old Trafford. The Gunners are prioritising a move for Mykhaylo Mudryk, but would like to add the Ukrainian winger and Felix to Mikel Arteta's squad to aid their Premier League title charge.
