The shirt worn by Diego Maradona in the famous 'Hand of God' clash with England has sold for more than £7million - smashing sports auction records in the process.
Maradona was arguably the greatest player ever and had one of the games of his life in the 1986 World Cup quarter-final.
He scored what was branded the "Goal of the Century" to send them through to the semi-finals on their way to winning the trophy in Mexico.
However the game is best remembered for his equaliser as he outjumped England keeper Peter Shilton and punched the ball into the back of the net.
It was one of the most controversial moments in the history of sport and has been immortalised with the moniker "the Hand of God".
The shirt the late Maradona wore on that day in 1986 was always going to attract interest when it went on sale at auction and it's being reported it went for more than £7m today.
It was sold for £7,142,500 - making it the most expensive item of sports memorabilia in history.
Maradona tragically passed away in November 2020 but made an indelible mark on the game.
He's a legend at Napoli, Barcelona, and in his homeland and captained his country to glory in 1986.
