Diego Llorente says he's a better player after gaining Premier League experience and is looking forward to the future with Leeds United. The Spanish defender penned a three-year-and-a-half year extension at Elland Road this afternoon.
The new contract will expire in the summer of 2026, which will take his stay in Yorkshire through to six years, if he sees out that time. The defender has made has made 55 appearances in all competitions, scoring four goals and has featured nine times in all competitions under head coach Jesse Marsch.
"It’s a good and exciting moment for me,” said Llorente. "It’s an opportunity for me to keep helping the team, I have been here two years and it has been a happy time for me.
