Diego Llorente believes Leeds United are in a good place after the Premier League curtain raiser against Wolves. The Spaniard has been an ever present at Elland Road since signing from Real Sociedad back in 2020.
The 28-year-old has had his fair share of injury problems during his time in Yorkshire, but last season's 31 appearances in all competition is a welcome return. The former Real Madrid defender has not had it easy since making the move to England, but says he's very happy at Leeds.
That's partly due to the Spanish contingent at Elland Road, with Marc Roca joining Rodrigo and Llorente at the Whites this summer. Speaking to the BBC, Llorente said: "I’m comfortable with all the team, not just the Spanish guys.
