Gabriel Agbonlahor has reiterated his early-season prediction that Liverpool won't make the top four - adding that they 'didn't fancy it' against Nottingham Forest earlier today.
Steve Cooper's Forest put an end to Liverpool's three-game winning streak, with former Reds striker Taiwo Awoniyi stabbing home the eventual winner 10 minutes into the second-half.
Jurgen Klopp made five changes from the side that beat West Ham 1-0 midweek - some forced - and his side looked notably disjointed at the City Ground.

Careless in possession and toothless going forward, Saturday's performance was a far cry from that in the 1-0 win at home to Manchester City last Sunday or the 7-1 Champions League thumping of Rangers just days before.
But, amid a damning assessment of Liverpool's performance, former Aston Villa striker Agbonlahor claimed he was never convinced by either of those resounding victories and doubled down on his prediction that the Reds won't make the top-four.
“Every player apart from Alisson was below a 5/10,” Agbonlahor told TalkSPORT . “Liverpool were looking like they’ll try and get back in the top four but can you name four better teams than Liverpool at the moment? Easily.
“I said at the start of the season, Liverpool will not get into the Champions League and I don't think they will. I’m not going to get carried away by them beating Rangers - who were dreadful - I'm not going to get carried away by them beating Man City with Pep’s mistakes and his tactics. Today, a tough game away from home, a cold day in Nottingham, didn’t fancy it at all.”
Liverpool missed out on a chance to climb up to fifth in the Premier League yesterday lunchtime, and Manchester United's 1-1 draw at Chelsea would have kept them in the Europa League places on goal difference, until today at least. Defeat leaves Klopp's side 11 points off Arsenal - who have a game in hand at Southampton - at the top and five points short of Chelsea in fourth.
