Diddy celebrates 54th birthday with Naomi Campbell, Janet Jackson and Idris Elba

Naomi Campbell, Janet Jackson and Idris Elba joined Diddy to celebrate his birthday in London.

The model, singer and actor were among the star-studded attendees of the private party, held at LAVO, part of The BoTree Hotel in London on Thursday night.

Campbell - who is rumoured to have dated Diddy, real name Sean Combs, in 2001 - was photographed chatting with the birthday boy inside the venue while also making time to pose with Jackson, 57, and Elba, 51.

The supermodel, 53, was also seen laughing and joking with her friend outside the venue in a chauffeur driven car.

Back inside, the rapper was presented with a huge red cake - with the star blowing out the candles in front of guests.

Diddy turned 54 on November 4.

Earlier in summer, Campbell was joined by fellow supermodels Cindy Crawford, Linda Evangelista and Christy Turlington on a historic front cover of Vogue.

The “supers”, known for the modelling work they did in the 1980s and 1990s, last appeared on the cover of Vogue together in January 1990, as well as a special issue marking the magazine’s 100th anniversary in 1992.

The 1990 issue also featured German model Tatjana Patitz, who died in January.

Talking about the bond they formed, Campbell, 53, told British Vogue: “There was a sisterhood there, defined by caring and loyalty: when one is down you pick the other one up.”

She also revealed what it was like to face discrimination in the workplace and said: “Why was it that I was doing the same job as my colleagues and had to take less money?

“Why was I booked for the shows but not the ads? I was not close-mouthed.”

Speaking on diversity in the fashion industry, she added: “What’s driving me now is seeing that opportunities are being given.”

This year, Campbell became a mother for the second time - welcoming a baby boy in to her family following the birth of her daughter.

The star announced the news on Instagram as she shared a picture of her cradling the baby while it is assumed her young daughter was holding the baby’s hand.

She captioned the post: “My little darling, know that you are cherished beyond measure and surrounded by love from the moment you graced us with your presence.

“A True Gift from God, blessed! Welcome Babyboy. #mumoftwo.”

She concluded the message, writing: “It’s never too late to become a mother.”
