Although we’ve only just kicked off 2025, it looks like we have our first piece of big celebrity news of the year. I’m talking about a rumoured engagement between Spiderman sweethearts Zendaya and Tom Holland, and how Zendaya might’ve subtly soft-launched the big news at the Golden Globes.
On Monday, Hollywood’s 2025 award season kicked off with the Golden Globes.
Of course, all of the major celebrities were there, including Ariana Grande, Cynthia Erivo, Timothèe Chalamet and the red carpet icon herself, Zendaya.
The Euphoria star strutted the red carpet alone, wearing a dramatic orange number with a copper wavy bob. While most of us were taken away by her beauty, eagle-eyed fans noticed a cheeky little detail that could hint at an engagement between her and Tom Holland, who she’d been dating since 2021.
Are Zendaya and Tom Holland engaged?
While the pair have yet to share an update in regards to the status of their relationship, fans noticed a giant rock on Zendaya’s left ring finger during the 2025 Golden Globes.
Fans also noticed she got a small “t” tattoo, which they immediately linked to Tom Holland.
Most notably, the Los Angeles Times reported that the mysterious ring was “noticeably not highlighted in a Bulgari press release” which listed all the gems and stones she wore (Zendaya is a long-time Bulgari ambassador).
Despite all the rumours swirling around the interwebs, at the time of writing, neither Zendaya nor Tom have confirmed this big step in their relationship.
However, in a blind item to Deuxmoi, an anonymous source has hinted that it is indeed an engagement ring that allegedly costs more than $200,000.
“That is a $200,000+ engagement ring from Jessica McCormack, a London-based jeweller. OMG… she’s not even hiding it but no one seems to have noticed!!!” the blind reads.
Look, like with most blinds, we should take it with a grain of salt. But I am practising the law of assumption, so I really hope these two cuties are indeed engaged!
