Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee TPCC president A. Revanth Reddy asked the TRS leaders whether the samples were collected from the accused who were caught at Radisson Blu Pudding and Mink pub.
Responding to the allegations made by the TRS leaders that a relative of Mr Revanth Reddy was involved in the drug case at the pub, Mr. Revanth Reddy countered by asking whether he had asked that his nephew be pardoned in the case.
“Why were the samples not collected from those who were detained at the pub?” he asked while speaking to reporters at New Delhi on Tuesday along with AICC secretaries G. Chinna Reddy, Sampath Kumar, former Union minister Balaram Naik and former TPCC working president Kusum Kumar.
“I do have the moral responsibility to protect values in society. I am ready to offer the samples of my relatives. I am ready for any inquiry on the issue and am demanding constitution of a special investigation team (SIT) with CBI and Enforcement Directorate,” said the TPCC president and recalled how he went to the High Court on the issue. He said that he would approach the Court again on this issue.
