It seems like everything isn’t well between actor Akshay Kumar and Kapil Sharma as reportedly Khiladi Kumar has refused to star in Sharma’s show to promote his upcoming film ‘Bachchan Pandey’.
According to Hindustan Times, Akshay is upset with Kapil Sharma after he requested Sharma and his team to edit out a joke made on Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s interview with the actor. However, things took a different turn when the same request was not followed as per a source and the clip ended up getting leaked on the internet.
It’s believed that the incident has led Akki to feel like ‘it was a breach of trust’ and he demands clarification on it.
Meanwhile, Kapil Sharma has not yet commented on the same report.
Reportedly, Akshay was on the show to promote his film ‘Bachchan Pandey’ releasing on 18th March. Announcing the release date of the film with two fresh posters, he had earlier shared, “Action ✔️ Comedy ✔️ Romance ✔️ Drama ✔️ L-O-A-D-I-N-G this Holi! #SajidNadiadwala’s #BachchanPandey in cinemas on 18th March, 2022 🎬 Directed by @farhadsamji”.
Apart from ‘Bachchan Pandey’, Akshay also has several big ticket films in his pipeline. This includes ‘Ram Setu’, ‘Raksha Bandhan’, ‘Prithviraj’, ‘Selfiee’ and ‘Cinderella.
Soon he will also be making his OTT debut.
Akshay was last seen in Aanand L Rai's 'Atrangi Re' where he shared the screenspace with Sara Ali Khan and Dhanush in the lead roles.
