Whether it’s the aspirational homes of her characters in The Family Stone, As Good As It Gets and Father Of The Bride or her own Pinterest-inspired property, Diane Keaton is an actress who the world associates with fabulous interior design.
Now, the 78-year-old star has done what we’ve all been waiting for her to do and released a homewares line that perfectly captures her signature aesthetic.
The new 109-piece line is a collaboration between Keaton and popular San Francisco homeware brand Hudson Grace — and yes, it’s just as chic and timeless as we could have hoped.
Those familiar with Keaton’s penchant for black and white won’t be surprised by the line’s classic colour scheme, with the collection’s linens, tableware, candles and décor items all favouring a black and white aesthetic.
Keaton also channels her quirky-meets-cool side through the collection’s distinctive patterns, which favour bold stripes, checks and unexpected pops of red.
“I love the fact that there is a pop of colour: Keaton Red!” the actress told PEOPLE. “I guess I’m known for my love of black and white and this may surprise you.
“Did you see the Fire bucket? Pure genius if you ask me.”
However, Keaton’s favourite colours and patterns aren’t the only inspiration behind the collection — her gorgeous golden retriever, Reggie, also played a big role in the selection of the collection’s pieces.
Among the bedding, kitchenware and fragrances are a selection of incredibly stylish pet accessories, including dog beds, bowls and treat tins. According to Keaton, they are some of her favourite pieces out of the entire collection.
“I must say all the dog stuff [is] because of Reggie,” Keaton said when PEOPLE asked her about her favourite item.
“Dog beds, biscuits, the dog bowls and even the door stopper. She comes first,” she said. “But between us, I love everything else. I love the casual California Chic linen bedding. It isn’t fussy and Reggie can jump on the bed too!”
While Hudson Grace sadly doesn’t do international shipping, we know where we’ll be shopping on our next trip to the States.
