Diana Ross left fans confused and underwhelmed with the outfit she wore for her much hyped concert in Chester-le-Street on Wednesday night.
Fresh from her opinion dividing performance at Glastonbury, when she filled the Legends slot on the Pyramid Stage, the now 78-year-old entertained fans outside at the Riverside ground, with some fans paying over £95 to see her live.
Music icon Diana has worn some absolutely fabulous outfits over the course of the career, donning a bedazzled head piece as she arrived at Glastonbury and wearing a sequin drenched number just a night earlier for the al fresco Lytham Festival, but Ms Ross went for an altogether more casual look for Chester-le-Street, walking on in a chunky lumber jacket style shirt, jeans and slouch boots as she kicked off her setlist with I'm Coming Out.

There was to be no costume change for the former Supremes star at any point during her set, with her staying in her casual chic as she performed the likes of Chain Reaction, Baby Love and Where Did Our Love Go.
Unlike at Glastonbury and other dates of her Thank You tour, where Diana has come back on stage to bow out with her cover of Gloria Gaynor's I Will Survive, she didn't do that for her County Durham fans, instead ending with Ain't No Mountain High Enough, with the concert coming to a rat5her abrupt end as ticket holders, who queued up in the rain hours earlier to get in, were left wanting more.
Diana left the stage at the Riverside after just over an hour on it and, while praising the performance overall, one fan took to Twitter to bemoan the set length and her outfit, writing: "Tonight was honestly fantastic, & seeing my mum that happy just made it but at the same time a big disappointed that @DianaRoss only did an hour, & it felt a bit like zero effort rolling up on uggs and a workman’s shirt after wearing stunning dresses to her other dates."
A second reacted: "She sang brilliantly from the off in her @UGG boots, jumpsuit and flannel shirt at Durham last night."
