The President of Blizzard Entertainment took to Twitter to reveal the exact Diablo 4 launch times, so players know precisely when they can go to hell.
Diablo 4 is rapidly approaching, as the 11-year wait after Diablo 3 comes to an end. Players are so desperate to get into the game that Blizzard President Mike Ybarra has decided to reveal the exact Diablo 4 launch times. Which – considering how good the Diablo 4 beta was – we can't really blame them, especially since there won’t be another Diablo 4 beta before launch.
Now players know what time they’ll be able to play the game when it launches with early access for players who have purchased the game's Deluxe or Ultimate editions (which you can find in our Diablo 4 pre-order guide). Ybarra posted on his Twitter account revealing that the game will be launching at 12am BST on June 2, 2023 for players in Europe and 7pm EDT / 4pm PDT on June 1, 2023 for players in the US.
Ybarra never mentioned launch times for the game's full release on June 6, 2023, but it’s probably safe to assume that the same times will apply for the standard edition launch too.
Diablo 4 preload
Currently, there is no preload available for Diablo 4. However, most Blizzard games become available to preload as it gets closer to launch, so I wouldn’t worry about not being able to boot the game up as soon as it’s live.
You’ll be able to preload the game on the Battle.Net client on PC and through normal means on PlayStation and Xbox consoles.
Diablo 4 file size
The suggested amount of space to be available to download Diablo 4 is 45 GB and Blizzard specifically suggests loading it onto an SSD. However, based on the Diablo 4 Beta there will be an extra 40GB download required to use the game's high-res texture pack.
