The Queen has revealed that she is the fifth royal to add stamps to the family’s world famous Royal Philatelic Collection.
The collection which was started by Queen Victoria’s son, Prince Alfred in 1864, is understood to be valued at £10million - a cost that stands slightly higher than a traditional blue collar stamp collection.
The hobby, which deviates from the more traditional past times such as playing polo, driving carriages or grouse hunting, is understood to be a therapeutic act for the Queen.
